However thin this needle might be, some major concerns of bloodvessels, internal organs, tendon, and ligaments that can easyly be injured should be expressed. The length of education an MD, or Licensed Acupuncturist has is adequate to perform this task. Both disciplines have many hundreds of hours practice. A PT can after a couple of weekend courses insert needles near the lung, liver, spleen (to mention just a few organs) and cause serious damage.
