Dry needling is one method of acupuncture practice. It is called ashi point needling and would be a complete and utter violation of acupuncturists scope of practice. Also it is relatively unsafe for someone who has not done the rigorous training to practice this type of acupuncture as it is a deep and aggressive acupuncture technique.
