Physical Therapists possess the anatomical, physiological and medical knowledge needed to safely and effectively perform this technique and it is distinctly different from acupuncture in treatment application and goal.  All of the skills needed to perform this technique are possesed by Physical Therapist and enable a trained PT to safely and effectively peform this technique.
