Patient fully supports Dry Needling!

Dry Needling has been carefully brought into my treatment program for pelvic instability due to trauma.  The therapist uses a variety of techniques depending on my presentation.  I am carefully evaluated and needling is performed when applicable.  On good days manual therapy may be all that is needed.  For the not so good days when multiple areas in legs, back, and/or buttocks are involved; I feel it is an invaluable tool to help the therapist effectively treat and provide me relief.  The therapist always takes great care during this procedure and afterwards to ensure the muscle is stretched gently after the needle is removed, followed by heat and self stretching program.  I would be greatly concerned if dry needling was no longer available to me.
