Oftentimes a doctor's appointment will last longer than three hours. This includes the doctor visit, tests, labs, imaging orders, etc. then there is the time waiting for a prescription, not to mention time to get to and from the appointment sometimes tests are not performed in the same facility. Only yesterday a client waited for three hours in the main waiting room, another half hour in the exam room and then about 45  -60 minutes with the doctor. This entire session lasted 7 hours. This of course is rare and unusual, but it does occur..
