Oppose DN

I am a practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine for over 20 years now.  It is grossly misleading to inform the general public that DN and acupuncture are two different modalities and done differently by acupuncturists and physical therapists.  The term acupuncture refers to the broad spectrum of many different styles and schools of thought with which DN is one part of.  To say that DN is not acupuncture is like saying that a poodle is not a dog.  Every properly trained acupuncturist will know how to do DN. The same cannot be said for a physical therapist. It is the responsibility of the state to ensure the safety of the public by implementing policy that will enforce that all services are performed by those who are qualified.
