Sopport for trigger point dry needle therapy by trained physical therapist

I am a pt patient who has been dealing with pain caused by muscle tension in and around the SI joint. I have worked with my therapist for several months, the first 3 using traditional pt procedures. It was not until we included dry needling that I experienced much relief or progress. TDN has served to break the muscle spasm cycle causing the problem. Ordinary surface STEM had minimal affect since the deep muscles did not receive direct treatment that is achievable with TDN. Physical therapists are highly trained and skilled professionals well versed in skeletal-muscular structure and relationships, and are knowledge about disfunction of these human systems. They are used in physical therapy to achieve resolution to those disfunctions. TDN is a valuable treatment option for pt patients who should not be denied the relief provided by it. Physical therapists who have completed the training required for TDN are not performing acupuncture, they are using a proven physical therapy technique and should not be restricted from treating patients in this manner when it is an indicated therapy.
