As a long time citizen of the Commonwealth, a veteran, and a retired LEO, with a CCL, I find the new ban imposed on people of Virginia and traveling through Virginia by the Attorney General to be totally unacceptable.  One cannot get a CCL without proper training and proven ability to operate a firearm.  Where are the statistics showing a problem with CCL in Virginia?  I have heard of no problem at all.  This is simply a part of the left wing liberal agenda cow towing to Obama and Michael Bloomberg for all the millions he spent to take over Virginia.  This will not go down without a fight.  As a proud member of the NRA, I can assure you all that the fight has only just begun.  Come election time...you will come to regret this political move.
