I strongly disagree with these two actions.Concealed carry holders are some of the most law abiding people in the country. Background checks must be conducted to get a permit. A criminal will carry a gun and commit a crime anywhere. They don't worry about the law and banning firearms in a a building, this will not stop a criminal from coming in and doing any violence they want to do. There have not been any problems with lawful conceleaded carry in State buildings so why ban It.
Virginia lawfully enterd into agreements with 30 states to allow citizens to freely carry conceleaded weapons. At the time these agreements were signed they complied with each states laws.Virginia law has not changed so these agreements should still be valid. If there are some slight technicaliites that have been discovered give the states the chance to work them out instead of throwing them out. How many out of state valid concelead permit holders have enetered Virginia and comitted a violent crime with a weapon? Please answer this.
