STRONGLY SUPPORT PTs using Trigger Point Dry Needling

Trigger point dry needling has been effective used by Physical Therapists for many years both here in the United States and in Europe.  Physical Therapist have intimate knowledge of anatomy, movement, and function, which together allows for an excellent marriage of the concepts required to deliver trigger point dry needling to their clients.  Physical Therapists have a 3 years of extensive amount of training, both didactic and practical, to provide a strong foundation for the use of a musculoskeletal treatment for muscles and joints.  The methods and philosophies of trigger point dry needling and accupuncture are different. I strongly support the use of trigger point dry needling in physical therapy by physical therapists.
