Gun free zones are soft targets for terrorists.

This proposal is insanity at it's finest. Every law abiding citizen has the right to self defend. Its our elected leaders that continue to violate their oaths of office and restrict the rights of the citizenry. The Governor does not have the authority to do this. This is not a solution to any problem. Its creating a problem for the purpose of establishing more bans on guns. Licensed CCP holders are NOT a criminal element of society. The creation of gun free zones has only hurt everyday Americans. To create soft targets for terrorists, criminals, and the mentally disturbed is an afront to foundations of liberty that this country was built on. Stop limiting the rights of law abiding Americans! This only serves to make more victims, and no one has the right to force me to shrink in fear from a madman because of my unfortunate location. It isn't right. It isn't Constitutional...and some people need to learn the meaning of "shall not be infringed"! The 2nd Amendment is more than just my right, it is a restriction placed on government. And we, as CCP holders, have already jumped through more than enough hoops to prove our reverence for the rule of law. The Governor and General Assembly should do the same.
