Dry needle is one of acunpuncture technique in past 20 to 30 years. An acunpuncturist have to study 3 year ,over 3000 hours including  East and West medicine and pass NCCAOM exam  (national exam ) to become acupuncturist. In medicine field, medical  Dr, nurse, physical therapy, chiropractor,acupucture, each have their own training and have their own specialty. The law should not  allow them to cross the practical scope to practice other professional technique which they know little. It involves public safety. If the  law allow  PT practice acupuncture today,the law  have to allow PT to practice medicine,as physician tomorrow. The  patient will be died if PT perform surgery instead of well training surgeon. 

In conclusion,PT is not qualifed for practice Acupuncture because  dry needle is alternative name of acupuncture technique.I strongly oppose  PT perform  dry needle because PT  is not  qualify for practise Acupuncture.
