This is not an attempt to stop criminals or provide safety for Virginia residents. This action will have no effect in reducing crime or saving lives, and is not a response to a real threat. This is nothing more than an attempt to circumvent Virginia's preemption gun laws. Only law-abiding citizens are affected by this executive order. It is appalling that the Virginia Governor thinks so little of Virginia citizens as to do this. The people do not want this regulation!
