Acupuncture Requires Proper and Adequate Training

Acupuncture has provided my family with proper healing for many years. I seek out only well trained, experienced and higher recommeded medical professionals in Acupuncture and Chiinese Medicine. If these medical doctors are interested in less trained and experienced acupuncturists, leaves me wondering whether I should accept the advice of my doctors. If doctors are willing to accept Physical Therapists with minimum training, then why doesn't the AMA accept doctors with minimum training. It would bring down the cost of medical care, a plus for our society. Seems like a double standard for medical professionals. Makes me wonder what really is behind the legislative interest to modify the rules for Acupuncture certification. Somehow I believe the "Profit Motive" plays in this legislative decision. Aside from the profit motive, there is no reason to degrade Acupuncture training, reduce safety and place patients at higher risk.
