Support of Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a physical therapy procedure that is distinctly different from accupuncture.  While they may use similar needles, the treatment goal and method is completely different.  Trigger point Dry Needling specifically addresses hyperirritable areas in the muscle tissue to elicit a physiological response directly in the target muscle tissue to enhance and progress treatments performed by the Physical Therapists.  It a very beneficial and effective treatment option for patients.  Those that are certified in performing the procedure have the level of education and expertise necessary to practice safely and effectively.
