DN is trigger point acu style that's been appropriated by PT's but has been for centuries

Called ashi or trigger point acupuncture, DN is an appropriation by PT's and Chiro's, clipped and abbreviated educationally, and repackaged by them. This repackaging has also crossed serious legal and FDA compliance regulations. ALL acu needles are to be used by "qualified practitioners of acupuncture" and are not to be sold or used by others. To bypass this, some PT's are importing "Dry Needles" and using these on consumers that were NEVER FDA approved despite these are a class 2 medical device. How are they even getting away with this?

Insurance: most are pocketing substantial payouts under "manual therapy". There is not code for this, and of course they intend to get paid which only encourages fraudulent billing.

Fraud and deceit abounds in this.
