Why deny Virginia's law-abiding citizens the same right to self defense the governor enjoys?

Will Governor McAuliffe demonstrate the genuineness of his belief in the safety of gun-free zones by ordering the currently armed security personnel that protect he and his family to immediately disarm themselves in compliance with the spirit of the regulations implementing Executive Order 50 (McAuliffe 2015) and make this action public? Furthermore, if the governor truly does NOT believe that the ability of law-abiding Virginians to arm themselves serves as a deterrent to becoming a victim of crime, will he post signs on his personal residences and properties stating that those places are gun-free zones and that no firearms are present? If not, why would he post those same signs on executive branch agency properties?
