I have one pt yesterday, was telling me about her experienced with dry needling. She said it was HURT! She finally realized that these people just completed very little hours. She read about the hours and schooling that I have done & complemented me on this. The idea of PT doing unskilled acupuncture is basically setting up bad name to this highly skilled profession in terms of needling. If PT really wants to incorporate this method to their treatment plans, please do it the right way - go back to school and complete your curriculum hours at least 3000 hours. Definitely NO to dry needling!
