Irresponsible law

The governer's ban on concealed carry in buildings that are owned by the executive branch will only make workers in those buildings more vulnerable to terrorists or active shooters.  Criminals do not respect the law, as is plainly demonstrated by the fact that the majority of mass shootings take place in locations where guns are banned or highly restricted, including the most recent one in San Bernardino.  Denying law-abiding citizens the right to arm themselves does nothing to prevent mass shootings but does render the victims helpless against criminals who will pay the governer's decree no respect.  Concealed carriers have already been vetted and should not be prevented from carrying inside any state executive buildings.
