Dry needling is acupuncture - needs NCCAOM & state licensure per acupuncture requirements

To practice acupuncture (insertion of filliform needles into the body) should be consistent in regulation and national certification standards per NCCAOM and state board of medicine requirements.

Dry needling is a rebranding of acupuncture. Clarify terminology and licensure requirements. Then follow up with those operating outside of their scope of practice, set penalties etc. there should be no confusion as to stepping outside of anyone's scope of practice. Safety and consistency is needed for our patients as well.
