This policy makes citizens less safe

By denying the means of self protection, you are denying the right of self protection. To take an executive action on such a subject, you have single-handedly overruled the will of the duly-elected legislature and usurped the will of the people.

With the resources available to your office, I would think it an easy task to review the number of shootings that occur in general public places versus those that occur in these politically created "gun free zones." To create a policy removing the ability of law abiding citizens to possess firearrms, while ignoring the overwhelming evidnce contrary to the stated reason for doing so, is nothing short of advancing a personal political agenda. I simply do not believe that you are ignorant of the facts.

J. Smith
