Dry needling is within the scop of PT practice. Who better than the PT to know where the patient's pain is and what muscles are involve and driving a patients pain. PT's are hightly educated with 3 years of extensive medical training. A study by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy found that 86% of the knowledge and skills required to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling is obtained in the entry level education of Physical Therapists when they graduate from an accredited program. We do not adjust CHI, Dry needling is distinctly different than Accupuncture.
