Don't approve this.  As a teacher in public schools, it is the only place I frequent that I cannot defend myself or my students from criminals that already don't follow laws.  Every mass tragedy that has ever occurred involved breaking already existing laws...no exceptions.  One only limits safety when firearms are taken away from law-abiding citizens.
