Dry needle tries to fool the public to believe that it is a new creation, from where? From 5000 years old healing art in China and changing the name won.t change the nature of what it is, where it comes from and what it does. If you look at the needle, the point where the needle applies and what it claims to treat, it is a copy of partial what acupuncturists are practicing now in the world. I feel ashamed for this happening in the usa. Where it promotes real creation not stealing intelligence patents and established knowledge from other culture and thousands of years of tradition. Some states like Georgia legalize the pt to practice dry needle, law won.t hide the truth and it is very nonresponsive for the public health and cause any risk to the public. Can we just say after 20 hours pt training and all acupuncturists can practice physical therapy or practice medicine.
