Ban is Anti-Common Sense

This regulation runs contrary to the common-sense measures we are looking for from our elected leaders concerning firearms and public safety. Every mass shooting and terrorist attack happens in gun-free zones. Adding our public, state buildings to the list of soft targets for the mentally deranged killers and jihadists is an insult to Virginians that pay our taxes, vote, and take the responsibilities of gun ownership seriously. Active shooters only stop when confronted by someone with a firearm. At this time of increased threats, giving the shooters more time to slaughter is absolutely not common sense. I urge you to back away from your partisan stance, and consider the safety of the citizens of Virginia.
