Acupuncture practice should be leagally administrated by state acupuncture board by common sense. None else have qualification to estimate this professional activity, unless acupuncture board failed to play his role. Do you think state acupuncture board currently is inefficient? Since state acupuncture board is an exclusive authoritative institute, why we will allow other party interrupt his work? Can we let PT board approve the heart surgery if PT appeal to, even we change surgery name as "physical heart improvement therapy"?  You could play game and use "dry needle" as the name of practice, but it doesn't change the fact, that is it still in scope of acupuncture practice. State Acupuncture board has right to clarify his scope of work, and we should respect his authority which assigned by federal government. For more 200 year, American government is fighting hardly in making government effecient, why we should allow those appeal breaking the regulation and making our authority system so unorganized?

2. Same as other specialties, acupuncture practice requires strict training due to the safety for our patient. If we allow other party reduces the standard and approves practice of acupuncture, it will bring a lot potential risk for patient. For the benefit of our citizens, we should not allow an unprofessional party involve professional authority. We used to be pride on that, America has the acupuncture authorization system in the would. This system ensure acupuncture develop properly. It will be so pity if we break it by out own hand.
