Dry needling is acupuncture.  In order to perform this procedure, much training is required.  Needles are inserted into the body.  Placing these needles in the wrong location can be painful and dangerous.  Please do not allow anyone with 54 hours of training to do this.  It should be left to licensed acupuncturists who have had years of training in a school with experienced professional acupuncturists.
