I have been trying acupuncture for years and it works very well on my parkingson disease. It's not only surround the muscle of the problem , but should be a lot of distal point and combination point together.its a thoughts from Asian instead western point of view , the muscle thing. It's a complicated therory  which pt doesn't know. Physicl therapy are illegally using acupuncture needle to practice "dry needle".
