As I understand , the dry needle technique is to use injection needle to do the trigger point stimulation, reliease the fascia and other connective tissue abnormilities, etc. By law only licensed acupuncturist and acupuncture physician can buy the acupuncture needles and use the acupuncture needles. PT using the acupuncture needles to perform the dry needling technique is NOT abide the law. We need to stop them.
