Dry needle is exactly acupuncture, only licensed acupuncturists are eligible to use it for treatment. Acupuncturists have educated in traditional Chinese medicine school for 4 or 5 yesrs and passed NCCAOM exams then get certificate or license. If Physical therapist can use dry needle for treat patient, so acupuncturists also can do the PT's job as long as trained given hours. If that, the risks of harm for patient is very high.
