If Gun Free Zones don't work, why make more? Extend comment period.

It's been proven beyond doubt that Gun Free Zones only encourage exactly what our Governor is trying to prevent. Gun Free Zones attract criminals who do NOT obey the law and will bring their guns onto the property anyway to commit their atrocities. The peaceful people will once again be sitting ducks for those who would do harm because they have been left defenseless by short sighted policy like this. I was going to say legislation but our Governor is not a legislator and has no legal standing in my opinion to overstep the General Assembly in this fashion. The fact that we have NOT had a problem so far with mass shootings in state agencies makes the "emergency" nature of the order fallacious. The comment period should be extended for the people to really address this issue.
