This is a groundless and unconstitutional regulation that will actually put lives in danger. Groundless because there have not been any incidents in any state buildings to provoke this so called emergency action, and unconstitutional because it is clearly an attempt to circumvent the powers of the legislative branch and the constitutional rights of Virginians. What makes this worse is that it would only disarm law biding citizens and embolden terrorists and violent criminals.
