Banning the rights of the law abiding citizen to carry firearms in self defense, will do nothing except embolden the criminals who disregard the law.  Do we expect the criminals who read a "No Firearms Allowed" sign to turn around and leave? Of course not, all we've done is create victims that have lost the ability to defend themselves.  This is a feel good policy trying to fix a problem that does not exist.  Lawfully armed citizens are the most law abiding of all of us.  After all we have passed the background checks to purchase and carry concealed.
