Gun Ban

Mr Governor and all my fellow Virginia Citizens. What good would a gun ban do?  I hate to sound cleshay but are drugs like (meth, cocaine, etc) not illeagle? What good could come out of banning guns in the commonwealth?  As governor your time and our mony should be spent where it would make a real diffrence, Mental Health. We as a nation/state are spending roughly per capita the same dollars we spent in the 1960's on mental health. Take a hard look at the (Va Tec, Auora Col, NewTown) shootings, all of the people that committed those terriable crimes were people that had serious mental defect and had either been under a doctors care or had sought help, & when the money and the drugs and doctors went away is when these people folded and did these terriable deeds. Im not saying pouring money into mental health will stop the next mass shooting but it will go further to do so then banning guns....
