Dear Sir Or Madam,

Disarming law abiding citizens is tyranny. There is no good purpose to removing the second amendment rights of citizens. The right to defend ourselves is not locked to specific locations. We have a personal responsibility and right to defend ourselves from evil wherever it may be.

Criminals do not care about laws, hence they are criminals. They consciously transgress the law without regard for it, hence they are criminals. A law restricting the lawful from protecting themselves against the criminal is a misunderstanding of reality. Law abiding gun owners abide the laws. Criminals will ignore this law as they do many others wherever it suits them and do what they want to do. Why restrict us from defending ourselves?

Are we to be sheep for the slaughter so that more gun control can be pushed? With the pen you consign to death those you disarm and empower the criminals you thought to control. This is madness. The cool logic of law as well as a frank understanding of the human condition must trump emotionalism and political electability.
