Gun ban

You do not need a gun ban.  Law abiding citizens that own guns do not go out for the fun of it and shoot people.  The mentally ill is what you need to be taking a look at.  The only thing that needs to change is on a background check there needs to be some indication of the person being mentally ill, depressed, incapacitated, etc.  So I suggest look at the HIIPA laws and ease the tension on this so background checks will include mental health issues.  If the people are on disability, we need to be able to see why, there have been many people that I come across that are depressed, won't take meds and receives disability.
