Terrorists Love Gun Free Zones

Please extend the comment period so everybody can have time to express their thoughts on this issue. And here are some of mine, thanks for reading and considering;

Why would any legislator take an action or pass a law that would leave law abiding citizens defenseless? Do they really not trust the law abiding citizens? Are they truly foolish enough to think the police can protect all of us all the time? Have you ever had to call the police and wait for them to arrive while somebody was breaking into your house or trying to assault you or someone near you? I have, it took the police 25 minutes to get to my house. Are there always armed police in all government buildings and gun free zones protecting everybody?

So I have to wonder whose side are these legislators on any way? An action like this just leaves us to be sitting ducks for some nut job terrorist or psychopath with a knife, bat, bomb, rocks, a vehicle, or whatever.

I have friends and family who work for the government in state agency builidngs. I don't want them or anybody to be subject to this kind of regulation.
