More Gun Regulation WON'T HELP

I fail to see the logic in making Virginia State offices "gun free zones" when these 'zones' are the most likely places for a criminal to go on a shooting spree.

You, Sir, as Governor have no right to decide whether me, my family or friends have the right to self defense.

This is a God given right and the government has no legal or moral decision to make concerning it.

Making our state offices "gun free zones", and making that public information, is nothing more than an invitation for trouble. Disarming law abiding citizens is NOT the answer to this issue.

Tell me, do you think criminals will abide by your new regulation?  If you do, well, I have more respect for the office you hold than to tell you what that says about you.

More to the point, the Governor does not have the legal right to implement this regulation without the General Assembly's consent. You, Sir, are taking a page out of the Obama playbook to "rule by regulations". This is unconstitutional and must be stopped.

You are endangering Virginia's citizens and public employees. That is unforgivable behavior.

This regulation should not be approved and should be withdrawn.

I officially request that the period for comment be extended for an additional 30 days. It is fishy to me that this comment period was opened during the Holiday season when so many are so busy and have Christmas and their family in the forefront of their minds. Another page from the Obama playbook!

We will certainly remember your actions regarding this next election, although rumor has it you only wanted the Governorship as a stepping stone to a national office. Shame on you, Sir.
