Bad law for the Commonwealth, deadly law for it's citizens

Dear Mr. Governor,

While your motive and intent with the recent emergency declaration banning concealed carry in public facilities is unclear and the lack of any factual information questions the need for it, the response should be very clear to you.  In less than 12 hours (as of this writing), over 600 citizens of the Commonwealth have taken the time to comment on the proposed law to make this emergency prohibition a permanant law.  Of those 600+ comments, there isn't a single comment supporting your position.  The question begs to be asked sir, who are you representing in these acts.

Creating more "gun free zones" has already been proven to be failure in social experiments.  Society continues to deal wtih the death toll caused by criminals, malcontents and those hell bent on doing harm who simply ignore your "Gun Free Zone" signs knowing law abiding citizens can be found within - unarmed and defensless.  Put a stop to this, let us defend ourselves regardless of where we are in the Commonwealth.  Your armed entourage and the police won't be there to defend us when we need it and denying us that right is an uncoscionable act on your part.

Craig McVeay
