Gun-free zone = sitting ducks

Please pay attention to the statistics of where mass shootings occur--overwhelmingly in gun-free zones.  Gun-free zones do nothing but create sitting ducks.  I have read all sorts of arguments against law abiding citizens being allowed to protect themselves by carrying firearms, and every one I have read is completely unfounded.  Law abiding citizens are not the ones breaking the law.  Talk to gun owners; the vast majority train as often as possible, and will gladly step up in a crisis to protect not only themselves and their families, but complete strangers as well.  Law abiding gun owners are not going around getting involved in "shootouts" or drawing their gun simply because someone cuts them off in traffic.  If someone comes into the building and starts shooting people at will, would you rather just accept your fate, or have someone there with a firearm who knows how to use it to at least provide some resistance and a possibility of getting out alive?
