This proposal is a public safety hazard

This proposal is unconstitutional at its outset. The selective banning of concealed carry in any location is a direct infringment on the second ammendment. Additionally it makes absolutely no sense. Concealed carry permit holders undergo a rigourous background screening by law enforcement. It is proven that removing the ability to defend oneself and those around you by creating gun free zones only serves to disarm the law abideing citizen. Criminals do not abey laws, the creation of more laws in this instance is not prudent. The govenor should consider the populations safety and allow legal concealed carry in all state agencies. This would create a reduction in workload of the agancies then charged with protection. Allowing them to focus their energies on the enforcement of law rather than the act of protection. The citizens of this state are entitled to the right of self defense. It is a right guarenteed to us by the constitution of this contry and the laws of this state.
