Look at the number of deaths that have occurred in gun free zones. You will be providing another possible target. I have a permit to carry and have taken a test and had a background check. I know I am not LE and don’t have any of their powers, but I know if I could stop or disrupt a deadly attack from a terrorist attack or by person or persons intent on DEADLY VIOLENCE I would do so. If I were not armed or able to carry a firearm then I would have no way to attempt to stop or disrupt any kind of violent attack because of your actions by not allowing me to legally carry. Look around the world also and see how many mass deaths were caused at malls and restaurants etc. because persons were not allowed to carry or it was unlawful to own a firearm. I hope you see the error in what you are trying to accomplish in the act you are trying to implement. The criminal will always have access to a weapon and very few have been purchased legally. The criminal will not care about any law you implement and do what they want to do. So anyone abiding by this law would be honest citizens who will be unable to protect themselves and others. Remember it has been shown that a person or group of person intent on a deadly attack, have a plan of action of what they are going to do and if their plan is interrupted most either surrender or commit suicide.
