I am writing against the proposed banning of firearms from state agency buildings. As a veteran I took the same oath as this governor. We swore to defend and protect the constitution. This proposed action is clearly a violation of that oath. The declaration of an emergency where none exists is the clear act of a tyrant. There are 460 plus Virginiians deployed outside the US that are defending the right for their families to protect themselves at home.  I ask that the period to respond be extended for them to return to weigh in on this obvious unconstitutional act.
