Sounds like a dangerously slippery slope

First it will become illegal to conceal carry in certain places. Then more. Then all. Before you know it, conceal carry will be illegal throughout Virginia. Then it will become illegal to have . gun in one's own home. This sounds like a sneaky way to infringe on the rights and safety of those who wish to be able to protect themselves in an emergency. What would have happened at any of the recent shootings if the victims were carrying? If the shooters had any suspicion that the victims might have been carrying, would they have attacked in the first place? It is interesting that the shooters tend to target places and people where they have a good certaincy of meeting no resistance.
