The current "check the box" format that requires the applicant to affirm they are a citizen, and affirm they have not been convicted of a felony, nor been adjudged mentale incompetent is 1) clear, 2) easy to underestimate, 3) in the event of voter fraud - easier to prosecute. The proposed affirmation is vague and poorly worded.
