Preserve the integrity of elections in Virginia

It is the duty of the Board of Elections to ensure that elections in Virginia are fair and impartial.  It appears that the voter registration form changes proposed by the Board will compromise the integrity of elections in Virginia. These changes violate both the Constitution of Virginia and the Code of Virginia.

Why did the Board think it is necessary to remove the requirement to answer the U.S. citizenship question on the application form? Or to provide the applicant's social security number?  This move can only be explained in the context of the 2016 Presidential elections.  The proposed changes would facilitate voting by non-citizens and certain felons whose voting privileges are restricted.  I am certain this is a deliberate step by current election officials, with the governor's backing, to effect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Lest we forget, some months ago, Obama's 2012 re-election campaign manager, Jim Messina, boasted "we will do whatever it takes" to elect Hillary Clinton in 2016.  Governor McAuliffe has appointed three state election officials who are now laying the foundation to execute Messina's strategy. How many more illegal immigrants will be resettled into Virginia or not deported, only to be added to the voter registration rolls?  And today there is breaking news that foreign nations are funding voting rights in America, through vast donations to the Clinton Foundation, with millions of donor dollars funneled from there to Governor McAuliffe.  This news is shameful and outrageous.

The Board of Elections should instead fortify the voter registration process to guarantee that only U.S. citizens who are legal residents of Virginia qualify to vote, as articulated by the Constitution of Virginia and the Code of Virginia.  Citizens deserve nothing less.
