Action | 2015 Voter Registration Application Regulation and Form Update |
Stage | Proposed |
Comment Period | Ended on 8/3/2015 |
Voting is a keystone of our democratic process, but it should only be allowed for those who are citizens of the Commonwealth and the United States of America, and those who have not forfeited their rights by committing a felony. Omissions of answers to questions about citizenship or felony conviction should be a cause to reject a voter registration application, and a signature of the person registering or a designated assistant is not a burden on the applicant. Please do not make these changes to the voter registration form.
