I support the amendment!  Students in Fairfax County are reading books like Beloved.  I can not even post the excerpts on this site as the site considers it offensive language.  Why does the State of Virginia consider this content offensive and not allowed but our children are required to read AND discuss in the classroom without parents knowledge?  Knowledge is giving options to parents.  Nothing to fear with full disclosure.
