It is our job to protect to children we teach, sexual, graphic, themes of incest, bestiality and rape should not be taught in the classroom without parent consent or approval. Just like the movie policy and FLE this should not be different. It is imperative that English teachers or any teacher give a "heads up" to the content, it is uncomfortable for students who have experienced these crimes to have to participate in a class discussion about them and have to read about them.
