Please reject this action as burdensome and unnecessary. Each subject, each class and each student is unique and the teachers' and librarians' expertise should form the basis for these decisions.

1. Trust your educators. They are the experts and have the best interests of the students at heart.

2. Trust your parents. Individual parents are always able to discuss any concerns with their child's teacher and administrators. This is enough of a safeguard without adding additional burdens to teachers' and librarians' workloads.

3. Trust your students. They can always discuss any concerns with teachers, administrators and parents.
